Connections: Opportunity to network with regional venture capitals and investors via demo day at the end of the program. The startups that graduate from the program will be invited to join Facebook’s startup alumni program that will connect them to a global network of startups.
Training: Powered by Rainmaking, a global cooperative of entrepreneurs, Facebook will provide training modules in short, intense sprints to help startups advance and mature their businesses.
Facebook Programs & Resources: Startups will be given the opportunity to be part of FbStart, a Facebook global program designed to help startups build and grow with access to free tools and services.
Regulatory Sandbox: Facilitated by IMDA, startups will have the chance to develop new approaches and innovative ideas through the use of data in a live environment.
Co-working Space: A physical office space in Singapore for participating start-ups, that connects the innovation community to collaborate, build and access key markets. The space is well equipped with prototyping lab, studio production, and incubation facilities that are built around design, data, engineering, ICT and Media.

Last month we hosted the series of eChai Singapore programs in association with MBA Entrepreneurship Club, NTU at Nanyang Business School.
In addition to these programs, we participated in many other events, visited incubation centers and accelerators, CoWorking spaces, VC Firms, and others to explore the possible collaboration opportunities.
We visited Tribe Theory – The Venture Hostel.
It’s an interesting concept.
Tribe theory is a new category of hostels for startups, a community curated, business friendly hostel accommodation, designed to cater to the travelling startups, creative and entrepreneurial community.
A place where not only you can stay, but network with founders from all over the world who are also on a pretty similar path to explore business opportunities in Singapore.
That sounds pretty awesome!
When we visited Tribe Theory, we ended up having the eChai Social session with founders from Singapore & Malaysia.
Tribe Theory is an entrepreneur centric hostel housed in the heritage shophouse of the oldest Chinese clan in Singapore. Every brick and tile of this building, and of this neighbourhood, is seeped in the history and DNA of the entrepreneurial spirit.
Located a short 3-5 minutes walk from 2 different MRT Stations (Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar) on 3 different lines, getting around the city will be a breeze. Singapore’s busiest and most famous hawker and food centres – Maxwell Food Centre, Amoy Street Food Centre and Chinatown Food Street are nearby.
If you are a young startup or entrepreneur on a budget, busy building your business venture and need an affordable yet soulful accommodation in the heart of Singapore, then Tribe Theory is the place to be in.
